Element, Gruber Deliver Safi Machinery

Cargo carriers Element International and Gruber Logistics have delivered breakbulk machinery parts from Shanghai to Soma in Turkey.

The consignment involved a total of 198 tonnes of machinery and was transported by Gruber from Shanghai to Safi Port in Turkey. From there Element International handled loading onto six low-bed trucks for delivery by road to Soma in Izmir.

“The timing was perfect for each stage of the project including crane operations, customs clearance, transferring the cargo to low-beds,” a spokesperson for Gruber said.

Gruber and Element International are members of the Project Cargo Network, which connects breakbulk operators from more than 100 countries.
