Procam Handles Sontra Hydro Parts

Breakbulk handler Procam Logistics delivered a cargo of hydroelectric components from India to Quy Nhon in Vietnam.

The consignment weighed more than 5,000 tonnes and was comprised of 18 breakbulk pieces, including four rotors, four stators, two generator transformers and four stator brackets. A team from Procam oversaw loading aboard the vessel Kamnik at Chennai Port.

“All the heavy lifting was handled safely using hydraulic trailers with heavy duty prime movers … and the over-dimensional units consisted of rotors, stators and transformers,” a spokesperson for Procam said.

Procam is a member of breakbulk association the Project Cargo Network, which connects freight forwarders worldwide.
