Heng Huang is a senior expert in the field of port and shipping informatization with more than 20 years of industry experience. Since graduating from Tongji University in 1997, he has been deeply engaged in the field of port logistics informationization. He added to his knowledge with a Master's degree from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics and the certification of professor senior engineer. Huang Heng and his team build the TOPS series of software which covers the whole process of port logistics. He has also overseen the planning and construction of information systems for all ports from Waigaoqiao to Yangshan in Shanghai International Shipping Center, the development and operation of internet + business platforms, and the independent research and development of the key technologies of fully automated container terminal management system of the Yangshan Phase-4 Project.

Established in 2001, Shanghai Harbor e-Logistics software Co., Ltd. is a high-tech Subsidiary of Shanghai International Port Group engaged in information technology for port and shipping logistics. Harbor is a large, state-owned enterprise with annual revenue of more than RMB200 million and 250+ employees. Harbor is focused on application service and information solutions for port and shipping logistics involving system integration, software development, network communication, information planning, engineering inspection, etc. The company’s core product – a container terminal operation management system – has been widely applied to container terminals in Shanghai, Yangtze River Valley, and East Coastal Area, which supports over 30% of national container throughput.
