Shandong Port Rizhao Port Group Co., Ltd.

Located in Rizhao City, Shandong Province, China, Rizhao Port began construction in 1982 and commenced operation in 1986. Following Shandong Province’s port integration initiative in 2019, it became a wholly owned subsidiary of Shandong Port Group. In 2025, Rizhao Port’s cargo throughput exceeded 580 million tons, and its container volume surpassed 7.37 million TEUs, serving as a vital international transshipment hub for energy and bulk raw materials.

Rizhao Port is strategically located at the intersection of the Pacific Rim Economic Circle and the New Eurasian Continental Bridge Economic Corridor. With a total land area of 26.5 square kilometers, it operates two port areas (Shijiu Port Area and Lanshan Port Area) and 79 operational berths, including 7 berths of 300,000-DWT class and 9 berths in the 200,000 to 250,000-DWT range.
