Yangjiang: After 900 APMT Moves
A 30-minute case study from the yard where electric heavy transport stopped being a pilot. At Yangjiang, China, the all-electric APMT moved offshore wind components around 900 times over 11 months — 80–560 tonnes per move, in mixed formations of up to 20 electric and 20 hydraulic axle lines. The talk shares the measured results: a 310-tonne, 6-kilometre move on 140.8 kWh against 70–80 litres of diesel; 65 dB against 100 dB; and the daily routine that made it production, not a demonstration. It closes with the 2027 intelligence layer — centimetre docking, collision prediction, multi-vehicle coordination.
