The Region’s Leading Project Shippers Heading to Breakbulk Asia

Breakbulk Global Shipper Programme Connects Shippers with the Industry to Move Projects Forward

November's event at Marina Bay Sands is expected to welcome over 400 shippers, representing companies involved in energy, infrastructure, manufacturing, mining and industrial projects across the region and beyond. Participating firms include Siemens Energy, GE Vernova, Vestas, Larsen & Toubro, Fluor, BHP, Shell, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and Hitachi Energy.

“APAC is a key business region for Siemens Energy, and Breakbulk Asia offers a unique opportunity to meet the people and companies shaping project logistics across the region,” said François Méroc, global project logistics leader at Siemens Energy. “It is about strengthening partnerships, exchanging perspectives and building the network we need to successfully deliver future projects.”

As large-scale projects continue to drive demand for specialist logistics across the APAC region, Breakbulk Asia 2026, taking place in Singapore on 18-19 November, offers shippers and cargo owners a unique opportunity to connect with the partners, suppliers and industry experts who can help them deliver their projects successfully.

The shipper audience reflects the strength of the region’s project cargo market, with 76% coming from across APAC. Singapore represents 32% of the shipper audience, followed by Malaysia at 10% and China at 7%. The audience also represents significant decision-making influence, with 74% of shippers at manager level or above. About 72% say they are looking to source new suppliers and partners.

“With Asia emerging as a key hub for energy transition, sustainable fuels, semiconductors and large-scale industrial investments, Breakbulk Asia provides an unparalleled platform to bring together shippers, EPC contractors, carriers and logistics specialists,” said Snehal N Khedkar, project logistics manager at Fluor.
