Beyond China+1: Where manufacturing investment is moving and what it means for project cargo

New manufacturing and fabrication hubs are emerging across Southeast Asia and India as companies diversify production and governments compete for industrial investment. But many of these markets remain closely linked to Chinese capital, supply chains and manufacturing expertise. Are we seeing diversification away from China, or a reconfiguration of China-linked supply chains?

This session convenes a high-level panel of project owners, manufacturers, EPCs and logistics providers to examine how changing patterns of industrial investment are affecting project cargo flows across the region. The discussion will explore where new manufacturing and fabrication hubs are gaining momentum, the factors influencing location decisions, and the implications for infrastructure readiness and future cargo demand.
