Marco Poisler is a key figure in global logistics and serves on UTC Overseas' Global Executive Management Team and Board of Directors. He is Industry Advisory Chair and a faculty member of the University of Houston's Human-Centered AI Institute. He studied economics at Georgetown University and earned a Master's degree in Transportation from SUNY Maritime. He opens the workshop and moderates throughout, framing how AI is moving from experimentation into everyday breakbulk and project-cargo operations, drawing on his UTAUT-based research into AI adoption in maritime operations.
