Mehmet Öğütçü is an internationally recognised energy strategist, former Turkish diplomat, investor and business leader with more than four decades of experience spanning energy, geopolitics, international investment and public policy, with a particular focus on Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

He is Chairman of Global Resources Partners, Chairman of the London Energy Club, and Founder and Chairman of the Bosphorus Energy Club. Through these platforms, he works with governments, national and international energy companies, investors and financial institutions on energy security, cross-border investment, geopolitical risk, commodities and the changing architecture of global energy markets.
